This is the Wiki.js editor portal for creating Codex content.
The public Codex is served by the custom frontend at theexiles.gg/codex.
QUICK START
To add or update public content, work under /home/codex.
Editor docs and templates live under /home/editor.

- Go to Codex Home and navigate to the correct section.
- Click New Page (+).
- Set the path using this pattern:
home/codex/section-name/page-name- Example:
home/codex/elite-dangerous/bgs-operations
- Add Title, Description, and Tags.
- Start content with H2 (##) headings (H1 is reserved for the page title).
- Save, then verify it appears correctly on the public site:
https://theexiles.gg/codex
IMPORTANT
Do not create public Codex pages outside /home/codex.
The frontend only reads content from /home/codex.
Anything under /home/editor is editor-only and will not appear publicly.
¶ Standards (Quick Rules)
- Keep titles short and descriptive.
- Use the description field (1–2 sentences). It shows up in listings and search.
- Use tags consistently (CORE, IMPORTANT, RULES, ED, EVE, SC, MC, EXODUS, etc.).
- Prefer clean internal links:
- Public link format:
/codex/... (what players see)
- Avoid linking to
/home/codex/... inside articles unless necessary.
- Ask in #codex-editors
- For structure decisions, ping a Codex admin
- For urgent issues, escalate to staff
